Reports answer one question: how is the work going? Each group has a Reports tab summarizing its own arkboard, and every member has a personal report covering their whole ark. Both are computed live from your cards each time you open them, so there is nothing to generate, schedule, or refresh.
Every report covers a period you choose: 7 days, 4 weeks, 12 weeks, or a custom date range. The period scopes every section below it.
Everything comes from the group's own board, discussions, and files. Reports never include time online, login activity, or anything from outside the group.
Group admins choose the audience in the Reports access section of Group settings.
| Option | Who Sees the Tab |
|---|---|
| All members | Every active member, including the workload table that names each person |
| Admins & leads | The group's admins and leads (the default) |
| Admins only | The group's admins |
| Hidden | Nobody. The tab disappears for everyone in the group, including the admins who set it |
Opening reports to all members is a deliberate transparency choice: everyone sees the same workload and delegation figures the admins do. The default keeps that to admins and leads. Changing the setting takes effect immediately, and Hidden is reversible at any time from the same place.
Reports list real cards, with their titles, due dates, and the people responsible. If Arkboard access restricts the Arkboard tab to a narrower group than Reports access does, reports follow the stricter of the two. Someone who cannot open the board cannot read it through a report. Group settings shows a note whenever the Arkboard setting is capping your Reports choice.
On Open groups, non-members can browse discussions without joining. Reports are never part of that: they name people and summarize their work, so membership is always required, even at the All members setting.
One more detail worth knowing: if the Files tab is restricted above your role, the file figures drop out of the Activity section rather than showing you counts for a surface you cannot open.
Group reports follow the plan of whoever owns the group, never the plan of the person reading them. This is the same rule that governs member capacity.
So a paid member can still meet a locked tab in a group owned by someone on the Free plan, and reports unlock for everyone the moment that owner upgrades. The locked screen names whose plan is involved, and offers an upgrade link only when it is your own.
Your personal report covers your whole ark rather than one group: work you keep to yourself alongside cards from every group you take part in. It is reached from your ark and shows where your effort went by source, what you completed, what is slipping, and how consistently you worked across the period.
It is yours alone. Nobody else can open it, not your group admins and not your organization's admins, and it follows your own plan rather than any group owner's.
