Share a card with a client or consultant, without creating a group
Add up to 10 people to a card on your Ark: coworkers, people in a group with you, people who follow you back, or anyone by email. Each person accepts first, and the card gets its own discussion.
A card on your Ark no longer needs a group to be worked on together. Add up to 10 people to it: coworkers, people in a group with you, people who follow you back, or anyone by email. It's made for work that involves someone outside the project team, such as a question for a consultant, a finish to approve with a client, or a drawing to check with an engineer.
How it works
- On Your Ark, open the card's ... menu and choose Add people.
- Search for someone, or type their email address and add a note.
- They choose Accept or Decline. Once they accept, the card appears on their own Ark too.
It's one card in two places, so a change either of you makes shows for both. Someone without an account gets an email, creates a free one, and lands on the card to answer.
What they can see and do
- They see that one card and its discussion, never the rest of your Ark.
- They can edit it, complete it, and post in its discussion, which only the people on the card can read.
- Adding or removing people, deleting, and moving the card stay with you.
Shared cards are the same on every plan, including Free.
