Arkscape has a new look
Arkscape has been redesigned: one navigation bar, pill tabs for switching views, and a more compact Arkboard.
Arkscape has a new look. The pages and the steps are the same. What changed is how they read: your work comes forward and the controls around it step back.
Getting around
- One navigation bar. Home, Your Ark, Groups, Files, and Network sit in a single bar at the top. On phones it floats at the bottom of the screen, within reach of your thumb.
- Switches look like switches. Wherever you choose what you're looking at, such as board or calendar view, Week or Month, or Your Groups or Discover, the choice is a row of pills with the selected one filled.
- Page titles sit on the page. Titles and their actions now sit on the page itself instead of in a white bar across the top.
Your posts
- Pinned posts are marked by a pin. They no longer have a blue background. A pin and "Pinned" after the time show which posts are pinned.
Your Arkboard
- A more compact board. Columns are slightly narrower, so more of your work fits on screen. If you prefer more room, open the board menu (⋮) and turn off Compact board. The choice is saved in your browser.
- Cards marked by color. The cards you're on keep their blue tint, and the rest are white with a fine edge.
- The side card floats over the board. Open a card beside the board and it appears as a panel on the right, with the board still usable behind it.
Groups, profiles, and files
- Groups, profiles, and organization pages open with a card that shows who or what the page is about, with the page's sections in a row of pills underneath. Scroll down and the sections stay pinned, with the name beside them.
- In Files, a selected file or folder is tinted with a blue outline, so it doesn't shift when you pick it.
Nothing about your data, your settings, or who can see what has changed.
